In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
As more and more riders head to the East Coast to prep themselves and their machines for the remaining nine rounds of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, the midweek crowd’s presence here in Southern California has slowed down quite a bit. We took a trip to Lake Elsinore MX earlier this week, and although the majority of the factory guys have made the move to the Sunshine State, there was no shortage of talent!
Josh Mosiman – older brother to Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna’s Michael Mosiman – was amongst the group of speedy riders putting in lap after lap in preparation for this weekend’s High Point National in Mt. Morris, PA. The number #125 has progressed exponentially over the last year or so with the help of former 125cc West Coast Supercross Champion Nathan Ramsey, and after a shoulder injury sidelined him through Supercross, the Sebastopol, CA native turned in two impressive 16th place moto finishes at Glen Helen and Thunder Valley! And did we mention that he’s running a full privateer program? He’s on the rise, so keep your eyes on the HD Supply/Husqvarna rider.
I flicked this shot in the midst of one of Josh’s motos just as he began his speedy descent down one of Lake Elsinore MX’s downhills. Good luck in PA this weekend, Josh!
