In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
It looks like Josh Grant has once again found a home at Monster Energy Kawasaki for the 2018 racing season, and we're happy to see the #33 already dialed in for next year. JG will again pit alongside teammate Eli Tomac, as they prepare for an extensive 17 rounds of racing. Grant showed flashes of brilliance throughout the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series with multiple top fives, even finishing the season off on the podium in third.
Immediately following the indoor series, the racing headed outdoors and first up on the schedule was the Hangtown MX Classic where JG put in an impressive ride to again finish on the podium in third. Two consecutive weekends on the podium in two completely different types of racing! Unfortunately, though, Grant's season was cut short due to a knee injury he sustained at the 2017 Southwick MX National, but has since returned to the saddle of his Factory Kawasaki KX450F in preparation for the approaching Monster Energy Cup.
