In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Blake Baggett has really come into his own this year; especially since obtaining his first outdoor overall at the 2017 Thunder Valley National. The #4 made a real statement the next very weekend at the High Point National by backing up his first premier class win with a second overall victory against the seemingly unbeatable Eli Tomac. The Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/WPS/KTM rider is a threat anytime he's on the racetrack, and he's no stranger to the podium, either, so the last few rounds in the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship may get a little interesting.
Tomac currently holds the points lead in the 450 class with Baggett following in second with a 32-point deficit. To some, it would appear that the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider has the coveted #1 plate in the bag, but with three rounds remaining and six more motos to get through anything can happen.
