In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
This isn’t exactly a mind-blowing photo by any means—I just really dug this little dude’s technique! I wasn’t familiar with Kade Johnson before our 2016 TWMX Mini Major a couple weeks ago, but this kid stuck out like a sore thumb as he railed this inside rut with perfect form while the majority of the field opted for the big bowl turn on the outside. Kade was a straight killer in our Pee Wee 7-8 and 65cc 4-8 divisions, taking home a first-overall and three second-overall finishes! I’m stoked our Mini Major has blown up as much as it has in just two short years, and I’m already looking forward to watching the young talent that we’ll have show up next year!
