For a first time venue, the Jacksonville Supercross provided plenty of excitement and showed that the 2009 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series will be one for the ages. The tension for the championship is coming to a head as James Stewart and Chad Reed had a battle that has had bench racers pulling 30 minutes plus two, and the message boards and user comments are lighting up. One thing is for certain: whomever claims the title this year will have some serious bragging rights. With Reed now only five points ahead of Stewart and three rounds left, the championship is truly up in the air. Both race winners and almost everyone from the podium isn’t enough for you? Stewart gets plenty of coverage…its nice to see some other riders getting some love as well.

swap wasn’t there, I was. Sorry, got the shot but it is from a strange angle. It looks like he is about to fall off the side of the bike because you cannot see his left hand and he looked in the opposite direction from where all of the photographers were.

he was almost never alone during the main though, shots probably had him and reed in most pictures. BUT WHERES THE CONTACT IN THE CORNERS! those would have been killer pics. stewart doesnt get much coverage probably cause his “new era” of 07 was really hampered by him missing 08. theres no bubba era hype anymore, just wins hype
