Monster Energy Supercross – Round 13 – St. Louis, MO – April 1, 2017
It might have been April Fools’ Day – but for Bell Helmets’ Eli Tomac, it was another do-or-die weekend. With only four rounds remaining, it was imperative for Tomac to keep his win streak alive to capture the 2017 Supercross Championship – and that’s exactly what the Factory Kawasaki pilot did. After a block pass on the leader on the first lap, Tomac controlled the entire race to the finish line where he collected his fifth win in a row – eight for the season. Tomac is now only four points behind the leader with four rounds remaining. Next stop is Seattle, Washington.

In the 250 SXE class, Joey Savatgy came in as the points leader and, with a 2nd overall podium finish at St. Louis, he is still in control of the series with a six point lead. The 250 East class takes a three week break, returning at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Next week the 250 West series continues in Seattle, WA, and then moves to Salt Lake City, UT.
