My bro's and i rode Cahuilla last saturday, what a huge dissapointment!
The pro track was muddy in some sections, and a dust storm in others.
They don't water the vet or mini tracks anymore, and when we asked we just got the run-around (not the first time they have done this)
The course workers have horrible attitudes, One kid flat out refused to water a dry section of the track, while another laughed at a downed rider that was in a blind spot on the backside of the big hill, instead of waving his yellow flag which was his job.
We are never going back there, it's a shame TWMX sponsors the place so heavily because in comparison to other tracks like milestone or even elsinore this place just doesn't cut the mustard. I guess they only care about tuesdays when the pro's ride there.
lame sauce.

If you've only been there once, how do you know they never water the track properly? I love that track. It's not a shi*** track, it's just different. Sometimes I don't want to ride super-groomed terrain… Sometimes I want to ride a dusty, rough track with ever-changing lines, so that's when I go to Cahuilla. Wicked1 is right… it's motocross.

I've been to Cahuilla a few times, and it was alright. I guess the maintenance was alright, but it really shouldn't matter. It's good to practice on a messed up track once in a while because during a 15 lap moto they aren't going to throw out a caution, NASCAR style, because it got a little dusty. Just have to deal with it, no track is perfect.

i like to ride nasty rough tracks, too..
but there is a fine line between chewed up and just dangerous.
when there are 4th gear tapped downhills that are slick as ice and so dusty you cant even see 10 feet in front of you while 3 wide with other riders in front and behind you, its sketchy.
