Guys before you put stewart for sure rememember he is on a 450 now and Villopoto is on 250 and almost matching stewarts pace. If RV gets on a 450 he may actually beat Stewart.

What are your thoughts on bar to bar both on 450's.  I saw villopoto's video training and testing the 450 and he looked pretty fast. He will ride Stewarts bike next year SO we may be in for a surprise.

Yes, Villopoto will be moving up to the 450 class next year.  It's going to be a great season next year with Villopoto moving up and Stewart and Reed on different teams.

The top Lites guys tend to have similar times as the top MX guys.

However, you don't stop to consider this.  The roughest the Lites guys ever see the track is the best that the MX guys ever see it.

A 450 is an entirely different beast, bud. RARELY do you see a top Lites guy translate his success on a little bike to a big bike the first season.

Only a handful of lites and 125 guys were able to have a success in their first year on the big bikes.  Stewart and Alessi did ok.  RC had a hard time his first year, but the GOAT bounched back hard in his second year.

villopoto is the fitest lites rider in the class if anyone can move up and handle a 450 its him and he has so much speed its ridiculous.

he will challenge stewart all year and take a few races and motos but stewart will win the overall championships if he stays heathy.

and about the lap times between villopoto, yes the track in the actual race is smoother for the lites guys but in practice (where villopoto's lap times) are almost similar to stewarts) they ride the same track at the same time and the added power can do nothing but improve villopoto's lap times

I think the compeition between the two of them will definitely help take things to another level again as they will be pushing each other more and more to go faster…kinda like bubba and RC…

I hope Villopoto will beat Stewart, they are both crazy fast.  Stewart will probably beat Villopoto at first, but Villopoto will catch on quick.

seriously if you people out there think that stewert is going to be faster than rv2, your idiots.don't you people pay attention? look @ the practice lap times, rv2 is not even 1 second off of stewerts times and he's on a 250, plus he's been bulking up for that 450, he's going to be seriously manhandling that 450.

Stewart was running similar laptimes as Carmichael when he was on 125's. Look at what happened to him when he moved up.

All this talk is only good if Stewart mans up and races the outdoors next season. I think if Stewart shows up Villopoto will at least keep him honest.
