After news that there is a new supercross series open to professional riders in the asia-pasific region, called SuperX (www.superx.com.au), during the motocross rounds are under way in America, can you see more riders becoming supercross or motocross only racers?


We see Reed missing in the current AMA Motocross Series as well as Windham (not sure of reason?) to maybe focus more on one discipline?


Personally i couldnt see the Bubba's of the sport following this trend, but if you could spend the AMA Motocross season working on your Supercross skills, would it be worth-while when Anaheim 1 shows its face?

That's actually an Austrailian Supercross series started by Reedy himself.


Yes, I see more riders doing an SX only type thing.  I mainly see the top AX guys going over there, and some of the mid-pack SX and Lites riders going over there trying to avoid some competition.  As far as the very top riders though, I don't see them leaving America.


Stewart seems to be in silly season pergatory.  It sounds like almost a for sure thing that he'll be at SanManuel (maybe Yamaha), and he might be doing SX only.  I just don't see that happening though.  He's a whole other animal in SX, but he's godly fast outdoors too.  I, for one, hope he as well as the other top racers stick with both sides of the sport.

I hate the fact that riders are choosing to race only Supercross.  There has to be a motivating factor to make the riders race both series, right now there isn't any.  Maybe it would motivate the top riders to race both series if there was a million dollar purse to win both championships?

Hey good to see people talking about it (SuperX) that is, it will be awesome can't wait for it. A couple of bigs guns coming on down, rumour Pastrana and McGrath. Us Aussies can't wait. How good is the new site by the way. Love Transworld, love it!

any rider who doesn't race super/motocross in my eyes is a total wuss. what's the matter with those guys? it's always funny to me to hear these guys say “i'd like to thank the fans”, b.s. if you ask me. the best way to thank the fans is to race motocross, so that the people are part of the racing not just another ticket holder a hundred rows up. look @ r.c. raced both that's why he is the g.o.a.t.
