um…who ever did that was doing it wrong…story behind it? I've personally been impressed with the evident quality of the KTM I've ridden and been around personally…so question, why are the numbers different?

He jumped a little tabletop and when he landed the frame snapped.

The numbers on the bike is different because the first photo is taken before the race. He had to change numbers because 97 was already taken.

I cant agree with you about KTM´s quality.

KTM has these small problems on the bikes all the time.

This guy has finished less than 25% of the races in two seasons.

Isnt it about time they found alloy frames ? steel went out with the ark,and less oil filters that cost lots at every oil change, they seem to have a few faults considering how many are out there compared with the % of other brands ? , still nice to have a different brand

That doesn't look like much fun.  I hope KTM offers a good dental plan when you by a bike.

KTM makes quality stuff, you just got a defective frame.

I would send it back to KTM, I am sure they will replace it.

They will probably really want to see what happened for quality contro

I got a 2008 450 and it has been awesome, I love it.

Its all been sorted out now

He got a brand new bike from KTM and he could also keep his own.

The engine on his bike is prepped to max, so he probably want to keep it Tongue out

I dont know but maybe he'll send the frame back to KTM later, so they can look for faults in it.

Before he goes out riding again he just needs to heal up his wrist.
