With several riders at the top of the 250 class, riding at the front of the pack is no easy task. Kyle Fry has been putting in top notch performances all year and at the third round of the Spring Cup, Fry rode three classes and won 3 of the 6 motos. In the Winter Cup series, he finished a strong second in points in the 250 Novice class. Currently he leads the points in the 450 Novice class and trails the leader of the 250 Novice class by a single point as they exit out of round 3. The Honda mounted rider has a very smooth riding style while maintaining a level of aggressiveness to keep him at the front of the pack. We caught up with Kyle at Racetown to get to know him a little better. You’ve been running strong in the Novice class, what are your plans to move up? I just did World Mini as a Novice and I’m going to do Mammoth and then I am going to move up to Intermediate after Mammoth. How did you do at the World Mini this year?I got a 5th in the stock and 12th in the mod class. I had some bad luck out there but I did alright. Are you planning on racing any other of the national races this year?Just Mammoth, that’s it this year. What else do you do besides racing?I do a little bit of BMX and I ride pit bikes every once in a while. Do you enjoy coming to the TWMX races?Yeah, I do. I really like the way the format is and it runs very smooth, it’s a great series.
