Teams and riders returned to the West Coast for this weekend’s race, the 2017 Seattle SX and round fourteen of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series. With the open-air venue of CenturyLink Field and the stereotypes of the Northwest in the spring, the weather definitely played a role in this weekend’s race as each main event was shortened three-minutes due to the amount of rain the stadium received in the prior week. Riders were faced with a soft and moist track that continued to deteriorate throughout the night. By the end of the night, the championship race was tighter than ever and the opportunity to make up an advantage faded even further away.
