Short is a real straight up guy. He really knows wuts up. I’m not to sure on how he likes the bike taking a long time to get to its powerband so as to give him more endurance cause a bike that hits its powerband quick normally whips a bike that takes a while to get to it but what do i know. All in all i like the new honda pretty well and definately like shorts gear. Good luck Short.

Andrew is a a straight up guy. I got to grow up racing with him and he has never let anything go to his head. He works hard and I hope he can get himself a championship or several before he’s done. And I hope he can pull out an A1 win cause I’ll be there!

Will 94 db hurt racing?..no way. Just like everyone rides the same track, every one has to meet the new sound limit.
We all love to ride, and most of us complain that there are not enough places to ride.
Noise closes riding areas, limit the noise and areas may stay open.

Short is one of few riders in this era that has the same personal style as many of 80´s and 90´s riders. That gives him my respect….this is a guy who stands by his word.
I´m so tired of seeing all theese young mxkids coming up thinking of them self as some super rockstar !
Or maybe it´s just me getting old ….

I met Andrew at Dale’s Fun Center in Victoria, Tx when he was buying his wife a cr250 a while back. I couldnt believe it was him since there is nothing special here in this town but it was tight and he is a good guy. Hope all goes well with his career!

Granted the sound limit may be better for amatuer racing as there are more events of that caliber nationwide, but for a professional venue I have to agree with shorty. They don’t put sound restrictions on any other motorsport; drag racing, nascar, IRL, or even monster trucks(sic).
Only a completely unrelated note, I really respect Short and his demeanor. He seems to be a stand up, quiet guy that eliminates himself from drama. Good luck shorty
