SCUBA HAS KNOWLEDGE TO SHARE FOR GASOLINE

Since temperatures at the 2017 Toronto SX were well below freezing for the entire day, we figured teams were taking extra measures to ensure their motorcycles performed perfectly in spite of the brisk weather. We were right. Many opted to keep the bikes inside their massive heated rigs as much as possible, while others kept small propane heaters turned toward the engines and suspension components between sessions on the track. Knowing that many of you are still locked in winter for at least the next few weeks, we decided to ask Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna crew chief Steve Westfall for tips on getting your bike to optimum temperature before taking to the track. His advice was simple: keep a heater of some sort near the bike to make sure the fluids of the engine and suspension are near a stable, normal temperature if possible and be sure to warm the engine up before running it wide-open.
