The 450 MX Class at High Point MX this past weekend saw some brand new excitement in the form of Australian visitor Dean Ferris. On holiday during his five week break from the Australian Motul MX Nationals, his one race deal here in the States was an added treat for both himself and American fans. With the expectation of having fun and doing his best, he surprised many by leading a handful of laps in moto one and ultimately finishing second behind Blake Baggett. A 14th in moto two gave him a result of 7th overall. We cruised over to the CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha awning and grabbed a solid interview about his trip over.
