It’s been about two months since Jessy Nelson suffered paralyzing injuries at the Unadilla MX National, and almost three weeks since he returned to his Lake Elsinore, California, home, after spending seven weeks in a New York rehabilitation facility. Since he’s returned home, Nelson has begun an aggressive physical therapy routine at Project Walk, a non-medical rehabilitation facility that works to get an SCI patient’s legs to work again. Thanks to donations and support from organizations like Road 2 Recovery, Nelson has been able to focus on making a full recovery from his injuries. We stopped by to see our friend last Friday, and broadcast this 20-minute conversation via Facebook Live on the TransWorld MX page.
