When James Stewart does something, anything, it’s almost always big. When he announced that he was giving a free ride day at Milestone, he obviously was not going to show up in the back of a pickup and just spin some laps. Thanks to James and his many sponsors, guests were treated to four perfectly groomed tracks, free food and drinks, and of course the chance to ride with the champ (on a two-stroke no less). The event went off without a hitch, and it is safe to say that all parties involved enjoyed themselves.

james is the man….And i know Chad is doing good in the out doors because Mike and Ryan are out and james Stewart didnt race….But James cant wait till X games and supercross

there is very few people if any that dont like to watch a two stroke rip it up… same goes for watching a pro goon ride.. dont get much better than that great video

HECK YEA that corner where the back wheel is up at is freakin awesome. You can tell he was backing it down bcoz the track had a lot of people that werent pros. Would be nice if he can have a JS Ride day at every state. Hahaa. Or may be by coasts . Now he would have to come to Central and north and east and that would be perfect

I've got mixed emotions about James these days…without a doubt the fastest most naturally gifted rider to throw a leg over a dirt bike. But I'm bummed with the no show for 09 nationals. Yeah supercross is the spectators portion of the sport but outdoors is what I perfer to watch. With everyone in the sport these days working hard to gain more tv coverage over rediculus shows like on the edge, monster jam, wrecked and endless hours of nascar, James can't organize a ride/contract to be outdoors? I don't know everything so please someone tell me there is a good reason for this.
On a more positive note, I love the idea of the ride day, the video, and in a time when we are stepping up from 85's this vid of the yz sealed the desicion to go 2 stroke.
I love watching goon rides but it's got to be done with tact, James you're arguably the best there is but Trey has you covered with the goonies.

Nice of him to do something like this because he is usually not real personable. You can tell he is uncomfortable as hell around all of those people so I am sure he is P.R. staff got him all pumped up on the idea. Dude is CRAZY fast though - wow!

Windham, Reed, and McGrath past and present have all bowed out of the Nationals for any number of reasons. basically they just didn't want to do it. If the nationals are failing to lure the talent maybe the nationals need to pony up more dough

Cooper Webb. He's a Red Bull JAMS rider and he definitely rips! Kyle Engle and Lance Coury were also in attendance as Red Bull riders.

At first i always thought he was a cocky guy, but once i found out he was gonna give all his hole shot money to charity and all these things, i have a tremendous amount of respect for him. hope i can meet him one day and thank him for bringing so much to the table in the only sport of have been a part of. thanks stewart

not necessarily true. i believe his yamaha contract did not include nationals and they were still going to pay alot more than kawasaki.
