In 2005, a short, young rider from Germany came to America to race the USA’s top minicycle racers. Very few people stateside had heard the name Ken Roczen. Little did they know, they were getting just a glimpse of a rider who would become one of the sport’s most dominant in the world and American championship series. At Budds Creek, Roczen wrapped up his second AMA Pro Motocross 450 National Championship, on the tail end of one of the most dominant runs the series has ever seen. He’s won 18 of 22 motos in 2016, and will arrive at the final round next weekend in Indiana the newly crowned champion. Congrats Kenny, it’s been a hell of a ride.
