yea the motor is all new fuel injection, and new plastics it's kinda the same plastics like the new 250f, but YAMAHA wouldn't be making such a big deal if it was just fuel injectioned!! the motor is going 2 be the other way around, and the air box in the front! its supposedly going 2 be faster and more powerful. but we will have 2 see september 8th!!

This vid was pretty retarted, even though JS7 is still the man. I am pretty stoked on a lot of the new mechanical features which Yamaha never seems to dissapoint, but they should seriously take both the 250 and 450 back to the drawing board and change those side shrouds cause they are not the least bit attractive, and i could care less if Stewart and the rest of Yamaha riders look like the shit on them lol. Yamaha please change those side plastics.B)

As I recall Husky had a 510 thumper in the 80's and ATK made the Rotax thumper 605 and then Husaburg which was built on KTM assembly line later.
Yamaha as usually picked up the ball ran it for the touchdown and the world is forever changed.
My question is why not fuel inject a 2 stroke? if a Detroit diesel can be a 2 stroke with tons of torque why not give a stroke oil rings on the piston for lube and direct injection into the cylinder at the exact right moment?
