Although the Agenda Trade Show may be dominated by upstart cool kid brands, iconic skate companies, and street wear, one cannot deny the influence motorcycles have on the clothing and lifestyle displays throughout the show. We saw Suzuki RM’s outside of the Crooks & Castles booth, a photo of Andrew Short during his Team Honda days, vintage parts throughout a vintage revival called ” The Woods,” and even a guy in an early 2000s pair of Thor Core pants and leather boat shoes. Once you take the buying power of a collective group (teenagers and their parents with stable income) into consideration, the need to reach out to this demographic becomes apparent. A number our of close friends and advertising partners set up shop at the 2014 Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach, California, and we made the quick trip up the coast to see their latest offerings for the upcoming campaign season.
2014 Agenda Trade Show
VonZipper | 2014 Agenda Trade Show
VonZipper’s MX Category Manager Pat Lopez is one of our closest friends in the industry, as he should be: “P-Lo” used to hustle the phones as an Ad Sales Rep before taking on new positions at CSG and now VZ. When we spotted Pat in the VonZipper booth, he greeted us with a quick tour of what is to come from the eyewear brand in 2014, including some of the raddest moto goggles we’ve seen in a while.
HLTN Collective | 2014 Agenda Trade Show
The 2014 Agenda Trade Show served as the “We’re here” moment for the dudes at HLTN Collective, as the upstart clothing and lifestyle brand made their presence known with the latest goods from the upcoming Fall 2014 line. We met with JG and Tony D a few weeks back, but partner Pete Martini joined the gang in Long Beach to fill everyone in on the “Happy Living The Now” vibe.
