We’re now less than two weeks away from the start of the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series at Angel Stadium in Anaheim and teams and riders are hustling to get last minute prep work in before the holidays. Unfortunately, though, due to all the rain that has fallen in Southern California recently, many of the team test tracks are currently flooded or in no condition to ride. Last Friday, numerous teams and riders showed up to Milestone, which thanks to the sandy soil and over-time work put in by the track crew, was the only Supercross track available.
Cooper Webb was spinning laps. Prior to Friday, he had been escaping the rain by riding Supercross in Arizona, and says he’s all set for the start of the 250 West Coast Championship.
Team Honda’s Cole Seely threw down a ton of laps throughout the day, looking very comfortable aboard his new ride. Here, he talks with Showa suspension tech Ryo “Ryan” Okuda.
Red Bull KTM’s Dean Wilson is set to embark on his first full 450 season aboard the all-new KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition. Check out the interview we just posted with Dean to hear how things have been going for him during the off-season.
The RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing team was spending the day breaking in the race bikes of Ken Roczen and Broc Tickle. Between now and A1, the team will be taking some time off, getting much needed downtime before the hectic season.
Yamaha-mounted Josh Hill looked very comfortable aboard his new ride, however, there is no word yet on the extent of his Yamaha deal. Aside from some enzo Suspension, his ride appeared to be largely stock.
Ken Roczen looked very smooth, strong, and fast as he spun laps, breaking in his race bike for Anaheim I.
Roczen’s teammate Broc Tickle was not only breaking in his race bike, but he was also making one of his first public appearances in his new gear. Tickle’s deal was just recently finalized with the RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing team, and he says he is excited to be back with the team and to have a new look. Check back soon for an interview with Broc.
