November 30th, 2006 – The final round of The Mike Thompson’s RV California Triple Crown Motocross Series is coming up this Sunday, December 3rd, at Perris Raceway. After seeing two successful rounds at Competitive Edge and Cahuilla Creek facilities, the big series finale will wrap up at the oldest track in California with a bang. With thousands of dollars in prizes, dealer bucks contingency, and the crowning of series champions with special unique awards, this weekend is sure to be an exciting and memorable event.

As a bonus, with the support of all three venues that the California Triple Crown Series visited (Competitive Edge, Cahuilla Creek, and Perris Raceway, we have come together to offer a grand prize award for the individual who scores the highest points for the overall series. This award will be named the Triple Crown Platinum Points Award. Only one lucky racer will win this award that will consist of a special Triple Crown membership card that will let him practice for FREE, up to one year at the three tracks that the series competed on. The membership card is for practice days only. Race days are not included with this prize.

Perris Raceway’s new track layout will offer a challenging and rider friendly course for the final round of the series. With the Brett Downey Memorial Winter National being held the following weekend, many of the racers will also be using the final California Triple Crown round as extra gate time, and practice for the big event.

Practice for the final round at Perris Raceway will begin at 8:00am sharp, with racing starting at 9:30am. Early sign-ups will again be open on Saturday the 2nd during open practice from 10am to 2pm. For more info on Perris Raceway visit them at or call 951-657-7441.
