After turning in a 10th place overall finish at Thunder Valley, Dean Wilson will sit out this weekend’s National at Muddy Creek in Tennessee. According to Wilson’s Twitter account, @DeanWilson15, the engine of his Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki KX450F let go while practicing yesterday and the resulting crash damaged his already fragile shoulder.
“Words can’t describe how gutted I am. Training yesterday bike blew up off jump and might have re injured shoulder. Can’t believe it.”
“Something’s are just out of my power and this was one of them. I felt lik I was starting to build myself up again and get strong. Sucks”
Thunder Valley was Wilson’s second race back since suffering internal injuries during the Supercross season. We will report more information as it comes available.
