Erin Normoyle Qualifies For Supermoto Main

Charlotte, N.C. (October 5, 2005) ¿ On October 1, 2005, in front of approximately 45,000 fans, Erin Normoyle became the first woman to qualify for an AMA Pro Racing Supermoto Championship event.  The Australian took her place on the grid for the AMA Supermoto race in Reno, NV.  At the checkers, Erin finished 22nd out of a field of 24 in the Lites division.       

¿My first goal was just to qualify and race with the men,¿ said Normoyle.  ¿I will be training hard for next year and plan on racing the AMA Supermoto Championship series,¿ she added.  Erin also plans on contesting the U.S. Women¿s Motocross Nationals in 2006.  Originally from Melbourne, she now resides in Irvine, CA where she rides motocross and Supermoto while continuing her long-time work as a model.  She is the Australian Women¿s Supermoto Champion, and the 22 year-old was selected by FHM Magazine as one of the sexiest women in the world.  Her sponsors include Fox Racing, Fast 50s, RG3, Two Brothers, Tokyo Mods, Shift Racing, Yamaha, Dragon Optics, Beringer Brakes, ASV, and Dunlop.  Visit Erin on the web at
