There have been a lot of rumors, but at today’s Red Bull Media Day, James Stewart wore his new Nike boots for the first time in front of the public. Word is that these boots are still in the development stages, however, Stewart has so far been happy with the performance. Apparently, Ryan Dungey helped with most of the development, while Stewart started working with them more recently. As of right now, Nike does not have any intentions of releasing the boots to the public, as they will just be used for promotion on their top two riders. We don’t know much more than that, but for now, here’s a little sneak peak at the all-new footwear.
It’s also worth noting that James will be wearing co-branded Red Bull/Answer gear for most of the 2010 season. He was also sporting this all-new gear during today’s pressday. Don’t get too excited, though, it won’t be available until at least the summer of 2010.
