With the Motocross of Nations just a few weeks away, now is the time to brush up on your FIM MX GP knowledge. Our still to be announced team will be battling in the sands of Lommel, Belgium, and we must say, the competition and conditions have our interests peaking earlier than ever.

If you have not been following the GP scene closely, this past weekend’s GP of Loket in the Czech Republic sums up what has been happening across the pond rather well. Jeffrey Herlings has no intentions of making allies in the MX2 ranks, has he frequently bangs his way to the front of the field. The method, though not well received by the competition, works wonders, and the Red Bull KTM rider is on his way to winning the championship over Tommy Searle.

Despite a DNF at the GP of Sweden, Antonio Cairoli holds a 30-point lead over Clement Desalle in the MX1 title chase. If things continue in the fashion they have, the Italian will add a sixth World Championship to his collection. Since relocating back to Europe, things have been rather rough for Christophe Pourcel. While he sits third overall in the point standings, his results have been affected by numerous bad motos. It is worth mentioning that the two-time Supercross East Coast Lites champion has been rumored to be in talks to come back stateside, yet it seems unlikely at this point.
