Action sports management firm lands top motocross athlete
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (April 12, 2004) ¿ Next Level Sports Management today announced the signing of motocross phenom James Stewart and will act as the exclusive agency of record for the 18-year-old from Haines City, Fla.
Stewart is a rising star in the popular sport of professional motocross racing. He has broken just about every record during his mercurial three-year racing career, but it his potential off the track that has sparked the attention of the business world and is the driving force behind the association with Next Level Sports Management.
¿James¿ ability on the race track is a proven commodity,¿ said Next Level Sports Management founder and president Tony Gardea. ¿He is breaking outside of the normal boundaries of our sport, and has the potential to reach levels that our industry has never seen.
¿James connects with fans of all ages and backgrounds, and even those who aren¿t motocross enthusiasts. We only hope to forge relationships with corporate America to put him in a position to better his career and advance the sport.¿
Gardea has over 15 years of sports marketing experience in the motocross industry and most recently handled the marketing and public relations for Kawasaki¿s motocross program where he was instrumental in developing the Chevy Trucks relationship.
¿I¿m really looking forward to working with Tony and Next Level,¿ said Stewart. ¿I think he is very well respected within the motocross industry and his knowledge of the business outside of our sport will be a huge benefit for my career.¿
