The fourth round of the Muscle Milk TWMX Spring Cup Race Series invaded the Glen Helen Raceway facility for the penultimate round. The San Bernardino, CA based motocross style track always delivers treacherous obstacles almost on a daily basis. A new track layout was the talk of the pits as more and more riders did their track walks and as the day’s racing got underway huge breaking bumps, long deep ruts, technical jumps, and rhythm sections greeted riders, which really weeded out the more talented racers from the rest.

Yamaha brought the good stuff with them this weekend. Everything from dirt bikes to UTVs.

Yamaha rider Dylan Anderson had a pretty great weekend filled with moto wins. Anderson went 1-2 in 250B for second, 1-1 in Open (non pro) and 1-1 450B for a total of five moto wins. Not bad at all!

As one of Southern California’s elite race series’, it should go without saying that the TWMXRS has some of the best and most supportive sponsors who are always lending a helping hand to racers. EKS Brand Goggles has been a staple at the races from the very beginning with their incredible goggles and accessories and this weekend was no different as they headed up Glen Helen for round four. ODI was also on hand with numerous products and Etnies was in the same boat as they, too, had some great products for everyone to check out. Another great sponsor to the race series is Yamaha. The multi-sport manufacturer always has great prizes at the end of each round as tons of generators, pressure washers and multiple dirt bikes have already been won by a few lucky racers.

Justin Jones was one of the top dogs in the pro classes at round four. Jones finished with two overall wins in Pro Open and 450A.

This weekend’s racing was incredibly exciting! Tons of blistering fast racers brought their “A-Game” to round four and not one of them backed down from an intense race. Dylan Anderson and Kai Mukai have been matching each other’s speed at nearly every round of the Spring Cup and it’s been nothing less than exciting for everybody. Mukai got the better of Anderson in 250B for the overall, but Anderson was able to exact revenge by winning both motos of 450B. Justin Jones was another rider with blistering fast lap times and he was able to win both Pro-Open and 450A. Another young ripper was Brady Kiesel. Kiesel won both motos of 250A and finished with a third in Pro-Open.

Brady Kiesel did exceptionally well for himself in Pro Open aboard a 250. A third overall was his finish in Open and a 1-1 moto sweep led him to the overall in 250A.

Kai Mukai was another rider to walk away with some moto wins this weekend. Mukai was the third place finisher in 450B, but was able to turn that around and sweep both motos of 250B.

Tons of great racing was had at this weekend’s Muscle Milk TWMX round and we hope you’ll all join us again for the fifth and final round, which will be held at Competitive Edge on May 18th.
