This past weekend, Anza, California's Cahuilla Creek Motocross hosted round four of the Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series, as well as their final race of the 2012 season. With another round of the championship up for grabs, it seemed that every racer brought an arsenal of speed and talent to the track. The day began with typical autumn temperatures and winds, but this did not deter the most faithful from lining up behind the gate and tackling the new reversed layout.

For this weekend’s Fall Cup round racers were, again, treated to free bike setup thanks to the well established crew at Factory Connection. Bike setup this weekend was key due to the roughness of the track and how quickly ruts were ripped into the surface. Setup was not the only service offered by FC, as they were also offering fork and shock services along with free technical support. One Industries was on hand to raffle off a set of their new revolutionary Vapor gear to one lucky racer.

The Factory Connection crew was on hand this weekend to help out riders with a few suspension needs.

Thankfully for racers, One Industries was raffling off a set of their new Vapor gear this weekend.

The talent of those on the track made for incredible racing in every class. Axell Hodges again swept the 250 Intermediate ranks over Desmond Spears and Tallon Lafountaine, as the trio rallied around the long, natural circuit. Hodges looked destined to double his overall wins for the day, as he claimed the first moto of the 450 Intermediate class, but a mechanical issue in the second outing would allow Connor Green to take the win. Hodges' woes continued in the second moto of Open Non-Pro, where he would finish fifth in the second moto after more difficulties. Again, Green would be there to capitalize on the misfortune and with 2-2 scores, took the overall. The Pro classes had their share of excitement, as Thomas Covington and Colton Aeck would trounce the 250 and 450 divisions. Kevin Weisbruch chased after Aeck in both the 450 Pro and Pro Open classes, but was unable to take the upper hand in either class.

Axell Hodges took the overall in 250B and and also moto wins in both 450B and open (non pro).

Colton Aeck definitely brought a broom with him this weekend. He not only swept Pro Open, but 450A as well.

Only two rounds remain in the 2012 Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series Fall Cup, as a double-header at Glen Helen will bring closure to the year. Early online entry is now available at
