Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart have each come on board as personal contributors to Team Warthog’s privateer support programs. “I think what you guys are doing is awesome! said Carmichael about the first in a series of programs being developed to lighten the financial load of the privateer motocrosser. The all-time AMA race winner has pledged his support as Team Warthog seeks innovative ways to improve the lot of the privateer rider.
Joining the Team Honda rider in rallying behind the cause of the privateers is Kawasaki factory rider Stewart. “I’m totally down with anything that helps these guys out, said Stewart, modeling a WWR beanie for the cameras after winning the Houston Supercross in his usual dominant fashion.
WWR thanks their charter primary sponsor, Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant, and the many enthusiast level contributors who’ve stepped up to support their efforts. WWR is extremely grateful to their friends at both Clear Channel Entertainment and AMA Pro Racing for their acceptance and help in integrating WWR’s ideas with their existing package of programs designed to benefit the privateer.
Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR ) is a unique company formed to better the sport of motocross. WWR is comprised of two distinct entities: Team Warthog, created to conceptualize, fund, and execute meaningful programs aimed directly at the privateers; and Wonder Warthog Apparel, which will sell casual clothes to the mass market based on the Wonder Warthog comic book character, with a portion of the revenues earmarked for Team Warthog funding.
