SpeedFreaks and CCE Kick off Anaheim 3 at Dave & Busters With the Stars of THQ Supercross

AURORA, Ill. (January 21, 2002) – Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division and SpeedFreaks, the nation’s number 1-ranked motorsports radio show, will host a pre-race party at Dave & Busters (at the Block) on Friday, January 31, the night before the third Anaheim supercross. Riders from the Suzuki Crossover Challenge and stars of THQ supercross will be on hand to sign autographs fans.

The party is open to the public and aims to give fans a chance to hang out with the competitors of the Suzuki Crossover Challenge and the stars of THQ Supercross. In addition, MotoWorld, the weekly ESPN2 television show dedicated to bringing fans coverage of THQ Supercross, will be cruising the crowd looking for fans who want to be on TV.

“We’ve been throwin’ down SpeedFreaks Freakin’ Pre-Race Parties for every big-time motorsports series in the freakin’ country,” shouts SpeedFreaks’ Big Gun, Kenny Sargent.  “Now we finally get to knock one down with the baddest two wheeled cats on dirt, thanks to our solid relationship with Clear Channel Motorsports and all the riders over the years.  On top of it all, two of the Freak Nation favorites, NASCAR Busch Series pilots Scott Wimmer and Scott Riggs, will be hangin’ with the throngs on behalf of the Suzuki Crossover Challenge!  This is definitely a race party NOT to be missed!”

On display for fans to take photos will be the official bikes of the 2003 Crossover Challenge and the SpeedFreaks Freakin’ Caddy. Fans will have a chance to win official merchandise of THQ Supercross, tickets to the Anaheim 3 race, Suzuki merchandise, Dave & Busters Game Cards and more.
