Texas Stadium Signs with Clear Channel SX

Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, announced today a three-year agreement with Clear Channel Entertainment’s motor sports division to continue hosting Clear Channel Entertainment’s supercross events through 2004.

Texas Stadium now joins Anaheim’s Edison International Field, Phoenix’s BankOne Ballpark, Minneapolis’ Metrodome, and Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium on the list of major stadiums continuing to confirm their place on the 2003 andbeyond schedule of Clear Channel Entertainment’s supercross series.

Texas Stadium, home of the five-time World Champion Dallas Cowboys, waserected in 1980 and holds 66,000 fans. With its half dome, half open-airroof, it is one of the most recognized stadiums in the world. Clear ChannelEntertainment has been bringing supercross to the Texas Stadium since 1975and has averaged over 40,000 fans ever since.
