LAS VEGAS (July 17, 2003) – Clear Channel Entertainment¿s motor sports division today announced that the Las Vegas Motorsports Group has signed on as an associate sponsor of the 2003 Maxxis U.S. Open at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on October 10-12.
As part of the agreement, The Las Vegas Motorsports Group dealerships, which include World Motorcycles, Motorcycle City, Las Vegas Motorsports, Honda of Las Vegas and Kawasaki of Las Vegas, will be the official ticket consignment outlets of the Maxxis U.S. Open.

The Maxxis U.S. Open, (founded in 1998) is an invitation-only motocross race held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, featuring the world¿s top supercross/motocross racers competing in the world for $300,000 – the single largest payout in motorcycle racing. In addition to the premier open class of racing, the Maxxis U.S. Open also offers a variety of racing including minicycles and freestyle motocross.
