Tommy and Darcy Take Friday’s Top Spots, Darcy Dusts the Competition on Saturday

Cleveland, Ohio (January 31, 2004) – Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports Division announces the results of the 8th round of the National Arenacross Series in Cleveland, Ohio at Gund Arena.

Friday night Tommy Hofmaster owned the top spot in the 125cc main event. Darcy Lange, who had engine trouble in the 125cc, came back with a vengeance and picked up the 250cc win.

Saturday night Darcy Lange showed why he is number one in points this season by taking both the 125cc and the 250cc wins. He added the dash for cash victory for good measure.

Next week the National Arenacross Series will travel to Guthrie, Okla. at the Lazy E Arena. For the first time ever the National Arenacross Series will feature a two directional track with 125cc races going in one direction and the 250cc races going the other direction.

Darcy Lange had this to say about the first ever two directional track in the National Arenacross Series: “I am curious on how the track crew will put everything together. I look forward to seeing the set up when I get to town on Thursday.”
