At the first stop of the Foster’s ASP World Tour, the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast Presented by Samsung, Australian Mick Fanning took out fellow Australian Bede Durbridge to win the contest. The women’s world tour kicked off with the Roxy Pro Gold Coast presented by Samsung and Chelsea Hedges took the win over 14-year-old wildcard Carissa Moore.
In snowboard news, at the Vans Cup Tahoe, Danny Kass takes the superpipe title over Finn Antti Autti. On the women’s side, Elena Hight edges out Kelly Clark for the win. Andreas Wiig wins another slopestyle competition this year, while Hana Beaman wins the women’s slopestyle. At the railjam, Lukas Magoon and Erin Comstock take the titles.
In skateboarding news, we bring you to Orlando, Florida for the Florida Bowlriders Cup where Benji Galloway takes first place.
In BMX news, pro Heath Pinter teamed up with pro football player Lonnie Paxton to present the St. Patrick’s Day Jam where other top pros like Corey Bohan, Luke Parslow and Chris Doyle rode hard and had a great time.
And in the Weekly Update One-on-One, pro skater Bucky Lasek talks about life on the road and last year’s ASPT Dew Tour victory.
