During the Daytona Amateur Supercross on Sunday, the Rockstar/Suzuki stayed for the day to help us with a race and to also get cleaned up from pro racing on Saturday in order to prepare for Toronto next weekend. A number of teams tend to go this route, especially when the series is on the East Coast, as the bikes are transported directly from race to race, while the team personell fly back to wherever home base is. With the excellent weather this weekend, it was a great opportunity for mechanics to take advantage of the warmth and prep their riders bikes and team rigs for what will undoubtedly be a much colder round in Toronto. Tommy Hahn’s mechanic, Jason Thomas (a.k.a. JT), took the time to give us a little tour of the Rockstar Energy/Suzuki team rig while he and all of the other mechanics were hard at work.
