Toyota Sponsored Rider Brings Home the Dew Cup

October 15, 2006 — Torrance, Calif. — Toyota would like to congratulate their sponsored freestyle motocross rider, Nate Adams, for his Dew Cup win at this year’s Dew Action Sports Tour.

“After spending a majority of last year injured, Nate exuded the mentality of an athlete who is always moving forward,” said Doug Frisbie, Engagement Marketing Manager for Toyota Motor Sales. “His performance plus his interaction with fans at the Toyota Zone made it a great year for us at the Dew Tour.”

Winning two of the five events and finishing on the podium at each stop, Nate was able to easily wrap up the Dew Cup beating the next closest competitor by 26 points.

Nate Adams
Nate Adams is one of the most decorated and accomplished freestyle motocross athletes in the world. After winning the gold at both the 2004 X-Games and 2004 Gravity Games by pulling a no-handed back flip, heel clicker back flip, Lazy Boy and his crowd pleasing 360 (Adams was the first person to ever successfully perform the trick in a routine), Adams has become an action sports icon. Now, by winning the Dew Cup, Adams becomes the man to beat for future events.
