The 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship continues on with round five taking place at High Point Raceway, a famed track in rural Pennsylvania. After more than a month of non-stop action, the championships in both classes are starting to become incredibly interesting with riders reaffirming their rank in the order with each moto. Ryan Dungey retains control of the 450 class over defending titlist Ken Roczen, but the point margin between the two riders is constantly in flux. As for the 250 class, we've seen the red plate passed back and forth between Marvin Musquin and Jeremy Martin quite a few times already this summer, and their battle for small-bore supremacy is expected to last until the very last lap.
250 Class Timed Qualifying
Marvin Musquin made the most of the relatively smooth track in session one and clocked the quickest lap of the class, a 1:59.753, aboard his Red Bull KTM. Jeremy Martin's best lap in the first outing was two seconds slower than Musquin's, but the Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha rider upped his pace and turned a 2:00.177 in final practice. The best laps by Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki teammates Adam Cianciarulo and Joey Savatgy were separated by just 0.274 seconds, with Cianciarulo coming out on top. Christian Craig is making the most of his time with the GEICO Honda team and a 2:01.501 lap ranked the fill-in rider fifth overall.

Roczen's 1:59.078 put the RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John's/Suzuki Factory Racing rider second overall, while a 1:59.219 by Dungey locked the Red Bull KTM rider in at third. Justin Barcia quietly ripped around the course throughout the morning and a 1:59.590 put the AutoTrader/Toyota/Yamaha rider fourth.
