The inaugural 2015 Transworld Motocross Fall Classic has officially kicked off, as Sunrise MX hosted the opening round of the seven round series. Formally known as Racetown 395, the facility received a face lift of sorts after it reopened thanks to Mark Belman, who also owns Competitive Edge; another frequent stop throughout the year for the TWMX race series. The new Sunrise MX facility has been completely recreated, as it features a new main track layout that's still just as challenging, but safer for every skill level. However, it didn't lose it's Racetown feel!

Former Motoconcepts rider Jeff Alessi and Associate Editor for Dirt Rider Magazine, Kris Keefer, had some great battles this weekend. However, there can only be one winner and Alessi made it happen with a two moto sweep in Pro-Open and another moto win in 450 Pro. Keefer was able to edge out the former professional racer in 450 Pro with a 2-1 finish.

The opening round of the Fall Classic housed the same enormous crowd as usual, but with even more exciting racing. Former professional Supercross and motocross racer, Jeff Alessi made his presence felt with a total of three moto wins. The former Motoconcepts rider took home the overall in Pro-Open with a two moto sweep and a second overall in 450 Pro finishing just behind Kris Keefer with a 1-2 finish. Alessi and Keefer, who are both High Desert natives, had some intense battles in nearly every moto they lined up for, but it was Keefer who took home the overall in 450 Pro since his 2-1 score was enough to give him the overall over Alessi. Jovan Pulgar was another rider to go on to a multiple moto win streak as the Upland, CA resident swept both motos of 450 Intermediate and another moto victory in Open (Non-Pro). Zach Peddie was yet another rider to go home with some new trophy hardware. Peddie laid down a clean moto sweep of 250 Pro and an impressive fourth place finish in Pro-Open aboard a 250F. Yamaha riders Renton Minuto and Chase Felong had some good battles, as well, as they each finished with moto wins, but it was Minuto who finished on top in 250 Intermediate with a score of 1-2, as he just edged out the 44 of Felong.

Jovan Pulgar had a memorable day as he too put down a two moto streak. Pulgar finished with a 1-1 in 450 Intermediate and another moto finish in
