Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki has announced that Chris Alldredge will return to action for the final two rounds of the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, starting this weekend at the 2016 Budds Creek MX. Alldredge has spent nearly the entire summer on the sidelines due to a fractured pelvis sustained in a crash in the closing laps of the 2016 Las Vegas SX, and just recently resumed a riding schedule. When we spoke to Alldredge at the Washougal round, he hoped to close out the season with a few races, including the two MXGPs, but nothing was confirmed just yet.
With Alldredge returning the Pro Circuit squad will field all five racers of its racers for the first time this summer, as he will join Joey Savatgy, Arnaud Tonus, Adam Cianciarulo, and Austin Forkner in the 250 class. This is an important time for Alldredge, because he is at the end of his contract with Kawasaki and from all indications, is not set to return in 2017.
