The Foxborough round has a unique schedule. Check it out.

For the first-time ever, the Monster Energy Supercross Series will take over Gillette Stadium for round fifteen of the 2016 championship. Massachusetts has a deep history with motocross (Southwick, anyone) and Feld has run Monster Jam events at the venue over the past two years, and we expect a solid show this Saturday afternoon. Like St. Louis this race will take place in the middle of the afternoon and will be broadcast on your local FOX network. Memorize this schedule of events and broadcast times so you don’t miss a lap.

After seeing a few images from the Thursday press sessions, the soil in Foxborough appears to very bright, coarse, and maybe even a bit sand. This is standard for the northeast area and will probably breakdown and become a challenge for riders during the races. Things seemed a bit dry and dusty during the short practices, so unless the chance of rain on Friday night comes through, the track crew will need to soak the surface over the next few days.

Since Gillette Stadium was built for football, this is a very big layout and it features long lanes of obstacles connected by multiple hairpin turns. The rhythm sections should offer lots of options for riders to try different things against their competition.

Have a look at the layout below, either by computer rendered drawing or by following along with the animated track map. Either way, you'll get an idea of what to expect on Saturday afternoon.
