The 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series has taken over the Lucas Oil Stadium in for round eleven of the year and the 2017 Indianapolis SX. A stunning stadium but rather limited on floor space, Feld Motorsports and Dirt Wurx have filled every available inch with obstacles and infrastructure, which riders figured out over the course of three practice sessions this afternoon. Since the soft soil is a standard at this round, expect the course to wear down as the evening continues on.

The biggest news of the afternoon was the run-in between Adam Cianciarulo and Zach Osborne in the second session. Tempers started to build on the first lap and the two riders exchanged tight passes around the track when Osborne hit Cianciarulo in one turn and sent the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider off of the track. Cianciarulo skipped the rest of the session and was tended to be medics, but managed to ride and finish the final practice. Cianciarulo is reportedly nursing an injury to his leg, and Osborne was summoned by officials before the last practice.
