Monster Energy Kawasaki has announced that Josh Grant will not line up for the 2018 Arlington Supercross due to a lower leg injury he suffered during the final timed qualifying session. Although details are sparse at the moment, the team have announced he will need to undergo an evaluation sometime in the coming week to find out the full extent of the damage.

Coming into the weekend, Grant was ranked ninth in the 450 championship standings.

UPDATE FEBRUARY 18TH 6:00 AM | We talked to the team on Saturday evening and it sounds like Grant broke the fibula in his right leg. Grant told the team that his feet were on the back of the pegs and when he landed from a jump, the force pulled his legs back and he felt instant pain. After talking with medics, Grant flew back to California on Saturday evening.
