2018 MUDDY CREEK MOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

The timed qualifying program at the 2018 Muddy Creek Motocross has just concluded, as riders figured out the flow of the Tennessee circuit during the morning practice. Early forecasts for rain had many concerned that Muddy Creek would live up to its name, but the weather has held out and it looks like a solid day of racing will take place this afternoon. 2018 MUDDY CREEK MOTOCROSS | 250 CLASS QUALIFYING REPORT

Justin Cooper continues to impress in his rookie season, as the Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star/Yamaha Factory Racing rider clocked the quickest lap of the 250 class, a 1:52.503. Cooper was the only ride in the small-bore division to post a lap under 1:54, as the rest of the field were much closer.

2018 MUDDY CREEK MOTOCROSS | 450 CLASS QUALIFYING REPORT

For the third time this summer Eli Tomac took the top spot in qualifying for the 450 class. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider posted a 1:51.405 lap in the second session, which was just over a half a second quicker than title rival Marvin Musquin’s 1:52.034.
