After one weekend off, it’s time for the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series to pick back up with round thirteen of the championship, the 2018 Seattle Supercross. Having the city on the schedule is excellent, as there is a deep history of moto in the PNW, but an open-air stadium in a town known for rain is already posing some problems. A look at Saturday’s forecast reveals showers in Seattle through the entire day, including the night show, and this will likely wreak havoc on the intended schedule released by the AMA. For now here’s a tentative look at what the event organizers have planned for Saturday at CenturyLink Field but don’t be surprised if this gets scrapped entirely for a single practice session at the end of the afternoon and shortened motos in the night show.
UPDATE APRIL 6TH 12:20 PM | THE AMA HAS RELEASED A NEW SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR THE 2018 SEATTLE SUPERCROSS, WHICH HAS ELIMINATED ALL BUT ONE PRACTICE SESSION IN THE AFTERNOON. THIS SCHEDULE STILL HAS THE STANDARD RACE DURATIONS, BUT THIS COULD ALSO CHANGE IN THE NEXT TWENTY-FOUR HOURS.
