After spending some time in the latest threads on the market, we collected some of the more popular premium items from a variety of brands to help make choosing your next set easier.

FOX RACING V3 HELMET | $449.95
FIT | TRUE TO SIZE, NO PRESSURE POINTS

Labeled as a “pro level” piece of equipment, the Fox Racing V3 helmet is the company’s top offering in the helmet category. The shell consists of multiple composite materials, including carbon fiber, and the internal components consist of dual-density EPS foam to absorb energy and a MIPS low-friction layer which handles rotational energy from angled impacts. All of this helps the V3 helmet exceed the standards set by the DOT and ECE. One of the most innovative features of the V3 helmet is Fox Racing’s MVRS (Magnetic Visor Release System) which allows the visor to snap off after impact and not catch on the ground or other objects. Fourteen intake ports route cool air over the rider’s head and four exhaust pull the heat out of the back, while a DriLex liner on the interior pads wicks away moisture and can be removed for complete cleaning. The V3 helmet is offered in four sizes (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large) and nine colors.

FOX RACING VUE GOGGLES | $119.95
FIT | NORMAL FRAME, NO ISSUES FITTING INTO MOST HELMETS

Developed alongside Ken Roczen, the VUE goggle is Fox Racing’s take on the current standard of a high-end eyewear. The pre-curved, optically-clear injected molded polycarbonate lens is secured to the ABS/nylon frame via a turn-to-release system that attaches to the outriggers. Three layers of foam are applied to the TPU backside portion of the goggle and seals to the rider’s face, absorbs sweat, and prevents unwanted dirt and debris from getting inside. All of this working together allows the goggles to meet ANSI Z87.1-2010 and EN1938:2010 standards for impact resistance. The VUE goggle is offered in seven colors.

FOX RACING FLEXAIR JERSEY | $89.99
FIT | ATHLETIC & TIGHT CUT, BUT TRUE TO SIZE (MEDIUM FITS LIKE MEDIUM)

Since it was first introduced in 2015, Flexair has been Fox Racing’s premium offering of race gear, and there have been plenty of subtle refinements along the way. The current model of Flexair takes the stretchy TruDri fabric, cuts it into an athletic silhouette, and finishes it off with a number of features like bonded cuffs at the sleeves and collar, laser perforations for ventilation, and sublimated designs. Although lightweight often means less durability, the material holds up exceptionally well to abuse. The Flexair jersey is offered in five colors and five sizes (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Extra-Extra Large).

FOX RACING AIRLINE GLOVES | $29.99
FIT | SOFT MATERIAL, UNRESTRICTIVE MOVEMENT, TRUE TO SIZE (MEDIUM FITS LIKE MEDIUM)

The Airline glove is more than a slip-on glove. It follows the minimalistic path of no padding on the top portion and a single-layer Clarino synthetic leather palm but has small touches like perforations on the palm for ventilation and TruFeel internal TPR bumps for improved contact between the hand and the controls. The Airline glove is offered in five sizes (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Extra-Extra Large) and four colors.

FOX RACING FLEXAIR PANTS | $229.95
FIT | ATHLETIC & TIGHT CUT, BUT TRUE TO SIZE (32 FITS LIKE 32)

Designed to match the jersey, the Flexair pant is built with four-way stretch TruMotion fabric, full grain leather knee panels, taped seams to reduce chaffing, and is formed into the “Rider Attack Position” with pre-curved legs. There are multiple outlets for trapped heat to escape from thanks to the laser cut holes, vented lower legs, and the absence of the bulky inner mesh liner. The Flexair pants are offered in six sizes (28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38) and five colors.

FOX RACING INSTINCT BOOTS | $559.95
FIT | SOFT INTERIOR, UNRESTRICTIVE MOVEMENT, QUICK BREAK-IN, TENDS TO RUN SMALL (10 FITS LIKE 9)

With the endorsement of many top pros, the Instinct boot has earned its place as a high-end offering. We’ve worn dozens of pairs of the Instinct since its inception and have felt Fox Racing’s improvements in the hinged ankle design, easy to use buckles, slim profile, unrestricted movement and contact with the bike, and easy to break in leather and synthetic materials. Components of the Instinct, such as the straps and Duratech sole, are replaceable. The Instinct boot is offered in seven sizes (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) and four colors.
