Alex Martin’s run in the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series has not gone to plan and now it sounds like the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM rider will not line up again until the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Martin injured his wrist during the Heat Race at the 2018 San Diego Supercross in February and spent the break in the schedule for the 250 West Coast region recovering, but the team was hopeful that he would be able to return for the final rounds of the series. Unfortunately, Martin recently figured out that the scaphoid is fractured and that he will need more time to fully recover.

A crash at the 2018 Anaheim One Supercross resulted in a small fracture to Martin’s collarbone that forced him to miss multiple rounds and after a very brief return, he suffered the aforementioned wrist injury at San Diego round.
