Last week the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/WPS/KTM announced that Benny Bloss was injured in a crash in preseason testing. Although the details were limited, the team stated that Bloss collapsed and bruised his lung, which will require him to take a brief break from training.
Despite the setback, the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/WPS/KTM team and Bloss stated that the issue should not prevent the rider from making the start of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series, which Bloss is slated to race in the 450 class for all seventeen rounds.
Sorry to say that #TeamRMATVMC rider @bbloss60 had a pretty knarly get of while practicing for SX. He suffered a bruised left lung and a small Pneumothorax. Which sounds bad but Benny should be back on the bike in a few weeks giving him plenty of time to be ready for Anahiem 1! Now heal up you #450SXRookie #babygiraffe @rmatvmc @ktmusa @flyracingusa
