Our sport is powered by caffeine, both financially and physically. Since a round of the Monster Energy Supercross Series takes place over nearly twelve hours, everyone needs a pick-up to get through the night show, especially the athletes. We’ve seen riders down cups of coffee or other energy supplements before heading to the line, hoping the caffeine would kick just in time for the gate to drop. While in Arlington we asked Seiji Ishii, a personal trainer and coach to BTO Sports KTM rider Andrew Short, for advice on making the most of the total legal stimulant.
