Dragon Welcomes Josh Grant to the Team

Dragon is proud to announce the addition of Josh Grant to their stable of athletes. It’s difficult to determine who will be the next champion; professional motocross has never been a sport of “sure things.” But when you find an athlete with the will and desire to win races you take notice. And for Dragon the decision to bring Josh to the program was an easy one. He is one of the most unique riders on the circuit and he’s never afraid to speak his mind. He doesn’t follow the path of least resistance and his laid back personality is contrasted by the fierce competitor he becomes on the racetrack.
Dragon team manager, Kenny Adams, said this of the new partnership: “I’ve been a fan of Josh’s since his first race at Hangtown. I thought he was going to win his very first pro moto! Since that time I’ve kept an eye on him and wanted to have him on the team but it never worked out. When the opportunity came up this year I jumped on it. I really see him doing great things this year and I’m stoked that Dragon is going to be a part of it.”
Nobody has ever doubted Josh Grant’s ability to go fast on a motorcycle. His wins and podium finishes over the years have backed that up. But Josh has expected more of himself in recent years.

“I’m ready to win,” said Josh of the upcoming season. “I got a taste of it two years ago when I won Anaheim and I want that feeling again. The switch to Honda has really motivated me to step things up. I’ve always felt at home on the Hondas and as soon as I rode the 2011 bike I knew I made the right decision; it’s awesome. I’m pumped to be a part of the Dragon crew this year. I hadn’t used their goggles until we started talking and I love them. It’s going to be a good year.”

Grant’s move to the Factory Honda camp for the 2011 season could be just what he needs to land on the top step of the podium. And Dragon will be there supporting him every step of the way. Good luck, Josh.
